Sevan SWACH (small waterplane area cylindrical hull) design is a cylindrical floating foundation for offshore wind turbines. The solution is scalable up to the largest wind turbines and offers excellent motion characteristics in harsh conditions.
Sevan SWACH is suitable for modularized fabrication and efficient assembly. The shallow draft enables the unit to be fully assembled inshore with a wet tow to final location. The technology facilitates for increased competitiveness for floating offshore wind.
