Goliat FPSO departed Korea on the 14th of February and floated off in Hammerfest April 23rd 2015. After float off she was anchored up in the fjord for final preparations. After just 2 weeks with departure preparations she was towed to the field and her mooring completed in the next week.
The cylindrical Sevan 1000 unit has a storage capacity on 950,000 bbls and is the first FPSO operating in the Barents Sea.
